This week marks the reschedule of our winter spirit week.  Details are listed below.  As a reminder, our PSP meeting on Tuesday has been canceled in the hopes that we may have a large staff presence at our Powder Buff game on Tuesday.  I completely understand if everyone can't make it, but would love to see you there!

Big Weekend for LPHS Students and Staff

 Hello All, 

This weekend was one of the most successful for our students and staff in recent memory.  In addition to the 7th snow day of the year, our students put on a show all over Metro Detroit!  

Our Varsity Boys Basketball team locked up their second straight district title on Friday night against Allen Park.  They will go on to play Dearborn High School on Monday night at 5:00 pm at Fordson! 

On Saturday evening, Emily Jacobs was elected to the office of Vice President of Public Relations by DECA participants from across Michigan! 

Also on Saturday, Cesar Garcia won a DECA State Championship in Sports Entertainment Marketing. 

Saturday was also a banner day for our JROTC Program.  The Armed Inspection Platoon finished in second place in the Seventh Brigade Regional competition at Fort Knox, Kentucky.  

The Weekend was capped off with the Railbots won the Wayne State District Event!  

Congratulations are due to all involved in these incredible events!  Thanks for all of your hard work and for representing LPHS so well!
