Hello LPHS Staff,
This week we wrap up first semester and kick off second semester. As we start second semester, we plan to address some student behaviors including tardies and skipping with more targeted tardy sweeps and tracking of attendance. In order to do this, I ask that you please ensure that you are taking accurate attendance, including marking first hour tardies. I recognize that this can be difficult to track, but the more information we have, the better off we are when trying to address it.
Monday:
* Final Exams, Hours 3 and 4 - Submit grades ASAP at the conclusion of exams.
* Students that are exempt from final exams are not required to be in your class, but should be marked present.
Tuesday:
* Final Exams, Hours 5 and 6 - Submit grades ASAP at the conclusion of exams.
* Students that are exempt from final exams are not required to be in your class, but should be marked present.
* Early Release PD day rescheduled to February 28. The meeting on 2/28 will run from 1:53-3:48 to include two hours of District Provided PD time.
* Second semester schedules will be finalized and posted for students during the evening.
Wednesday:
* First day of Semester 2, full day. If students can not access their schedule on parent or student connect, they can come to the media center for a printed copy.
* Share Black History Month Information with Third Hour Class.
* Share Behavior Expectations Slideshow with Fourth Hour Class.

Thursday:
* Book Study, Final Session - 7:00 - 7:45 am in LPHS Media Center
Friday:
* Lockdown Drill, C Lunch - This will be a shelter in place drill - More Information to Come
