This Week at LPHS, June 12 - 16

 In the immortal words of Shania Twain, it looks like we made it!  This is the last week of school!  To echo my sentiments from last week's staff meeting, I'd like to again express my appreciation to all of you for the efforts you put in to making this school year a great success.  LPHS is a special place because of all of you!  Check below for info on the week ahead!  

Monday: 

* Junior locker clean-out, 2nd Hour

* Sophomore locker clean-out, 3rd Hour

* Freshman locker clean-out, 5th Hour

Tuesday: 

* Final Exams, hour 1 (7:50-9:19) and hour 2 (9:29-10:58) 

* Grades submitted for hours 1 and 2 before your departure for the day. 

Wednesday: 

* Final Exams, hour 3 (7:50-9:19) and hour 4 (9:29-10:58)

* Grades submitted for hours 3 and 4 before your departure for the day. 

* Happy Birthday, Tom Karnes! 

Thursday: 

* Final Exams, hour 5 (7:50-9:19) and hour 6 (9:29-10:58)

Tuesday: 

* Hegira Health will be doing sports physicals in the training room in the gym.  Kids will be called down throughout the day.  

* Staff Meeting, 2:48-3:48 in LPHS Media Center

* NHS Inductions, 6:00-7:30 in LPHS Auditorium

Wednesday: 

* Student of the Month Celebration, 1st Hour, LPHS Media Center

Thursday: 

* PBIS Meeting, 7:10 in room 144

This Week at LPHS, May 29 - June 2

 This is a big week for LPHS and our senior class specifically.  Thank you for all that you've done to get our students to graduation!  I know there are many that will walk the stage on Wednesday night that you've impacted significantly, and some that would not be there without your efforts!  I think it says a lot about the work that you all do that in a community like the one we work in, our graduation rate is what it is.  We know that our students learn way more than curriculum from you and that in many cases, you are the reason they show up!  Thank you for all of that!  I hope that you are able to come and enjoy the celebration of all of that hard work on Wednesday night!

* Commencement Rehearsal, Senior BBQ, Senior Walk (Schedule Below)

This Week at LPHS, May 22-26

Senior Failures Procedure: 

A sheet has been placed in your mailboxes to record senior failures after senior final exams. Every teacher needs to turn one in regardless if you have seniors or if you have seniors that have failed. Please make sure this sheet is turned in to Michele by the end of 4th hour on Thursday, May 25th. This is imperative to find out who is graduating on time this year. See Michele or the Counseling office with any questions.
