This Week at LPHS, December 14 - 18

 We are winding down the 2020 calendar year with one last week of school and it's off to a fun start.  Really, I don't think we should've expected anything less.  That being said, the four of us have been in many classrooms over the course of the last few weeks and it is inspiring to see many of the creative ways that you guys are reaching our students.  Thank you for your patience this year and for your willingness to go above and beyond for our students!  Here's to 2021 bringing in far greater things for humanity and education!  

Not a lot to add to our schedule for this week, other than the fact that we do have a PD meeting on Tuesday.  It will run from 2:50 until 3:50.  You can find that meeting link here.  We will login for SCECHs during this meeting.  

Friday: 

* LPHS will be open from 7:00 until 3:00 should you need to access the building.  A reminder that the questions on the Screening Tool have been updated and must be completed any time that you are in the building.  That tool can be found here.  Please also remember to let the secretaries in the main office know that you are in the building.  

* Happy Birthday, Lisa Guitar! 

Finally, I missed a few birthdays this past weekend.  Happy birthday on the 12th to Ms. Kwalton and Happy Birthday just yesterday, to Lee Kraft!

This Week at LPHS, November 30 - December 4.

This week begins our new schedule, please review that with your first and fourth hours tomorrow to make sure that they understand.  As a reminder to you, those schedules are posted here: 

Monday: 

* New Schedule Begins

Tuesday: 

* PSP Meeting After School, We will have a brief whole group meeting here starting at 2:50.  You will be using your own data for this PSP.  Reminder that PSPs are not optional, all teachers that work on Tuesday are required to submit one.  If you work with a co-teacher or teaching partner, make sure both names are on the PSP form.  

Friday:

* The building will be open from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm for optional attendance in the building.  If you do come to the school, please limit your movements to your classroom, bathrooms and copy room.  Please also check in with Heidi in the main office so she can let maintenance know which rooms need to be cleaned.  

This Week at LPHS, November 23-27

Although this week is a short one, it is a busy one as well. Please see below for information on the week ahead.  

Monday: 

* Full day instruction for virtual students

Tuesday: 

* 1/2 Day instruction, hours 1-3 for Face to Face students.  

* Parent teacher conferences, 12:00-3:00 and 5:00-8:00

* Please create a Google Sheet with all of the conferences you hold included.  The document should look like this: 

* At the end of conferences, please share the document with me.  As a reminder, all students that are currently failing your class MUST have communication with their parent attempted.  

* The building will be open for you to do conferences from school if you would like to take advantage of that.  Please use the dock doors.  It is optional for admin to attend conferences in person as well.  Anyone in the building must limit their presence to restrooms and your classroom.  

Wednesday: 

* No School

* Food Pick-Up is from 11:00-1:00 on Wednesday this week.  Please share this with your families.  There is no food pick-up on Friday this week.  

Thursday: 

* Happy Thanksgiving

* Happy Birthday, Scott Sitek! 

Friday: 

* No School
