This Week at LPHS, October 28 - November 1

Hello Everyone,

Please see below for the events of this Halloween Week at LPHS!


Wednesday: 

* SST Meeting, 8:00 in Media Center Conference Room

* Tree Planting, 3:00 by the Green Club - 18 new trees will be planted around campus.  If you'd like to stick around and help, I'm sure they'd love the company!

Thursday: 

* Halloween - Students can wear school appropriate costumes (no face paint, masks or weapons) if they pay $1.  This is a fundraiser for our graduating classes. 

Friday: 

* Lock Down Drill, 9:00 - Please do your best to make sure students stay in your classroom at the beginning of second hour so that we can take care of this quickly. 

* Happy Birthday, Tre Fry!

This week at LPHS, October 21 - 25

Hello All,

A few reminders as we get deeper in to the school year and near our first progress report period. 

* Human Resources sent out a reminder two weeks ago regarding MiStar gradebook.  These should be updated AT LEAST weekly.  If we want students and parents to stay on top of their grades and be informed as to their progress, we have to do our part.  The majority of you are meeting this target.  Thank you!

* Planbook is not optional.  This is another district requirement and must be completed and up to date.  Each time we come in to the classroom, we are checking your Planbook.  If you are not up to date, we are often not able to discern where in the district curriculum you are working.  Again, the majority of you are up to date on this and it is greatly appreciated.

Tuesday:

* Early Release Meeting, 1:55 - 2:45 in the LPHS Media Center.  I will have directions for you on what we will be doing during this meeting by the end of the day on Monday.

Wednesday:

* College Wear Wednesday

* LPHS Blood Drive

* Link Crew Event after school

Thursday:

* BTN Meeting, 7:00 in the Media Center Conference Room

* Fire Drill, 1:30

Friday:

* Happy Birthday, Brent Tucker!
