This Week at LPHS: September 12 - 16

Thanks for a great first week and welcome to our first full week!  We are off to a great start and I look forward to that continuing for the remainder of the year. 

A couple of notes before we get into the week ahead:  

* Please complete this form in order to support future educators that are enrolled in Mrs. Doyle's teacher prep program.  A note from Mrs. Doyle: "I am looking for teachers to volunteer to have my Intro to Teaching students come in 1-2 times a week depending on the number of volunteers to observe how we do things.  This link is for staff to volunteer to host a student/students."

The Week Ahead: 

Monday: 

* Happy Birthday, Phil Kubitz! 

Tuesday: 

* 2nd Hour Freshmen Grade Level Meeting.  Please take attendance and come to the auditorium with your class when the announcement is made.  Your class should all sit together and you should sit with them in order help with crowd control.  This meeting will take the entire hour.  

* 3rd Hour Sophomore Class Meeting. Please take attendance and come to the auditorium with your class when the announcement is made.  Your class should all sit together and you should sit with them in order help with crowd control.  This meeting will take the entire hour.  

* Staff Meeting - 2:48 - 3:48 in the LPHS Media Center

Wednesday:

* The LPHS football game against Allen Park has been switched to a home game since Allen Park's field is not done yet.  Kickoff at 7:00 pm.

Welcome to the Railsplitter Family, Leo Thomas Stineman!

 Just before midnight on Saturday, June 4, Kim and Tom Stineman welcomed Leo Thomas into the world.  Leo weighed in at 9 lbs and is 20 inches long.  Both Kim and baby are doing fine and the Stineman family welcomed grandparents for their first visit today!  Congratulations to the whole Stineman family! 

This Week at LPHS, June 6-10

Well, we made it to the last full week of school!  It's been quite the journey this year, but we've had quite a bit of success as well.  I appreciate all of the work that you have put in to the year and making sure your students got the education they deserved.
